Building on the success of the Mad Bess Express, Argosy were back with a new fright experience to thrill and scare on the train of terror.

The audience boarding the train were invited to take their seats by spooky station staff on a smoke filled platform. Some even dressing in Halloween costumes adding to the atmosphere of the event.​

 

After a briefing by a police officer, the audience were asked to support the police to help stop the mad doctor releasing the inmates from the asylum.

​​On the journey into woods, a police officer turns off the generator that keeps the gates locked to the asylum. The journey from hell had just began.....​

 

 

With new members joining for this production, we could include more scripted parts to develop a strong narrative. Sam Webb directed the show once again, his unique style of direction supported the cast to develop scare tactics and character structure though various workshops and weekly rehearsals.

What we ended up with was a solid story, mix in lighting, sound and a dark wood and you have a recipe for a great Halloween show.
