The inspiration for the script came from the house itself, there was so much history to tap into made the process of developing the script very easy. For example; the story that resolved around the woman who lost her child in a fire is fiction, but the fire itself really happened.

Headstone Manor really took on a character of it's own, we didn't have to do much to make it scary. The atmosphere was already there, all we needed was a cast.

Another group dare to enter Headstone Manor

The story was based on group of paranormal investigators inspecting the house, this is the role the audience took on as on as they explored with a guide. They then went from room to room, communucating with spirits who each had their own take on what life was like in the house.

The Dark Spirit

Then there was the 'dark spirit' who towards the end of the tour traps the audience in a dark room. The show was a great success and feedback we had from the audience made it all worth it!

Even though I wrote the script the production itself was made a success thanks to Sally Munday and the Harrow Museum team. As well as Sam Webb's great direction and the cast's stellar performance.
